CHALLENGER CAMPING AND GLAMPING OPTIONS
AS A MINIMUM ALL CAMPERS WILL HAVE ACCESS TO SHOWERS, WATER POINT, TOILETS, BAR TENT AND FOOD CONCESSIONS.
Camping is free for all Challenger participants. This includes access to the campsite and does not include any equipment. We will transport your bags and camping equipment on our baggage transport lorries from the start to the campsite and then onto the finish on Sunday. We will have a beer tent with real ales. Food options will include pizza and ground coffee with bacon rolls, fruit and porridge part of the menu for breakfast.
Supporters will require a camping pass each which will allow access to the campsite and use of the showers and toilets (including some dedicated toilets for ladies). The camp site is manned overnight and the site is covered by first aid crews for the entirety of the event. There is no vehicle access to the campsite without a Vehicle Pass that is included in some of our camping packages.
AT COAST TO COAST WE HAVE EXTRA CAMPING OPTIONS TO PURCHASE. These are limited and must be bought in advance.
This area is designed for those that like to have their car right near to their tent. Parking will be on hard standing. An adjacent marked out 5m x 5m camping pitch gives you the confidence that that you will get the space you want. A vehicle pass is required to enter the campsite and supporters will need a Supporters Camping pass. Vehicle passes and Supporter Camping passes will need to collected from Registration at Cawdor Castle on Saturday and will be released to the bill payer. Please display passes to the staff upon arrival to be directed to your pitch.
All supporters will need one of these to camp but can access the beer tent without a camping pass if staying elsewhere. Cars will need to be parked off site in Fort Augustus where there is a pay and display carpark. Then set up your tent in a spot you like the look of. Please respect the fire lanes and marshal instructions. Supporter Camping Passes need to be bought in advance and collected from registration at Cawdor Castle on Friday where passes will be released to the bill payer.

- Electric supply: To bring safe 230V power to your appliances. Keep your gadgets charged.
- *Mattresses: Highly insulating single mattress with a 4 inch premium foam interior and an advanced microporous outer cover, offering comfort, support and warmth.
- *Bedding: fitted sheet, duvet and pillow.
- Access to the camp site’s showers and toilets.

**Each Supporter requires one Supporter Camping Pass to access the camping area which is collected from event registration at Cawdor Castle on Friday along with a Vehicle pass.

Spectator Camping Passes must be bought separately. Buy your camping pass here. Spectator camping passes must be collected from Registration at Cawdor Castle on the Friday. Parking will be in a car parking area that is close to the Bell Tents but not immediately next to the tent. Please check the Essential Event Information document published in the weeks before the event for further event information.

‘Bell tents have a no smoking, no vaping and no pets policy. A charge may be made to the bill payer if careless customer usage requires bell tents to be repaired or deep cleaned.
